Calling all Knitters! Our idea for Pride is we want to dance under a large knitted canopy/quilt created during our pre-party kraft’s day in Phoenix Park on June 22nd.
This canopy draws inspiration from the AIDS Memorial Quilt, weaving together threads of remembrance for those lost to the AIDS crisis and a vibrant show of solidarity with our community today and into the future. Come add your stitch to this joyful tapestry of sound, community, and queer expression.
Speakers and decks set up and open deck throughout the day.
We’ll also be joined by Lovely Hurling FKA Shite Craic Hurling for a puc about and a wee open trad session! So have your hurls, instruments and cúpla focal at the ready!
