Analog On

Analog On is a performance/studio collective that realizes electronic tonalities in live settings and has a busy touring schedule with appearances at festivals and venues across the USA, Europe, Ireland/Northern Ireland and the UK. Formed in 2016 as the ‘house band’ for the Ideopreneurial Entrephonics II festival, Analog On remains true to “that glorious era inhabited by Dockstader and Ciani”. 

 The group tends to avoid the verbocentric male-dominated discourse that is commonly found in academic circles, choosing instead to concentrate on a gender-balanced structured improvisatory practice that owes much to popular culture studies, and to the West Coast and East Coast synthesis (counter) cultures.
